In-Domus is an Italian operator specialized in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation in Milan. For over a decade, we have been supporting students through one of the most delicate and formative transitions of their lives: leaving the family home and experiencing true independence for the first time. For us, a student residence is not just a place to sleep, but a living environment that educates, protects, and fosters responsibility.
We were founded with a clear mission: to make the right to education genuinely accessible through quality housing solutions at affordable prices. This means creating and managing safe, well-regulated, and welcoming environments every day, where university life can develop in a balanced way, combining study, relationships, wellbeing, and personal growth.
Today, In-Domus manages three residences in Milan — Milano Internazionale, Milano Olympia, and Milano Monneret — offering a total of over 1,000 beds, representing around 20% of the city’s private PBSA market. Alongside this consolidated presence, we are pursuing a development pipeline focused on measured and coherent growth, always aligned with the specific characteristics of Milan and the real needs of students.
Our model is built on a simple but rigorous principle: a residence is a community — vibrant and cohesive. For this reason, In-Domus properties are dedicated exclusively to students and do not adopt hybrid models that also provide hotel services to a general public. The result of this conscious choice is a truly vibrant community that promotes integration, safety, and quality of everyday life. A context in which every student can feel part of something, without ever being forced to participate.
We believe that the university experience does not end in the classroom. Common areas, study spaces, gyms, and sports and community activities are an integral part of our project, designed to offer new opportunities for connection, experiences, and stimulation beyond academics, ensuring a memorable Student Experience. At the same time, we deeply respect individual differences: fully engaging in residence life is an option, not an obligation. Everyone can choose their own pace, level of involvement, and personal balance.
In-Domus originated under the aegis of Fondazione Cariplo, which helped shape an approach based on responsibility, transparency, and attention to social impact. These values continue to guide our governance and operational choices today, shaping a model that combines economic sustainability, quality of experience, and long-term vision.
